Volunteers
Welcome for 2009 Bangor Book Festival
The Bangor Book Festival offers a number of opportunities
to meet authors and to participate in providing a rewarding experience
for the people of Bangor. Volunteers are important to the success
of the Book Festival, and we'd love to have your help. If you are
interested in volunteering, please send your name and contact information
to info@bangorbookfest.org. Thank you!

Bangor; arrange to meet and welcome assigned author to town; take
the author to venue; be reachable by author or be with author during

session-specific announcements; introduce presenters using material
provided by Bangor Book Festival; assist with book signings; take
a count of attendees five minutes after the program starts; collect
evaluation forms and any left-behind items at end of program; return
count, evaluation sheets and lost items to Volunteer Central.
Book Seller -
Staff venue and/or Signings Central book tables where the books
by the presenters will be autographed and sold. Previous experience
handling money and credit/debit cards will be useful.
Poster Autographs -
Find each author/presenter (a list will be provided) and get their

to major sponsors of Bangor Book Fest. We do want every author and
great care must be taken to keep the posters clean and dry.
