Every year, the Bangor Book Festival is grateful to the good work done by all of our dedicated volunteers.  Without you, the Festival would not be possible.

We need volunteers for the 2012 Bangor Book Festival

If you would like to see the Festival from the inside, join us as a greeter, an usher, or a host for an event.  Or do you have other talents that will help us bring about our sixth Festival?  Please contact the Book Festival Committee at info@bangorbookfest.org.

Friday, October 19, 6:30 – 7:00 pm

Hammond Street Senior Center:  ushers needed to greet people and pass out programs.

Saturday, October 20, Throughout the day, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Bangor Public Library and various locations in Downtown Bangor:  We need 30-35 volunteers to act as hosts.  Duties include  greeting people as they come into the various venues. Greeters will give directions, hand out programs & evaluation forms, act as runners as needed and encourage people to fill out evaluation forms.

Families may wish to host children’s events.
